As part of our WMATA PM/CM support contract, we are looking for candidates to fill a part-time role with our Invoice Review Team. The anticipated support would average only 20 hours/week, however, the assignment could last through the duration of our contract in August 2023.
Sortac Systems is looking for a part-time (averaging 20 hours/week) Financial Analyst for a long-term contract in Washington, DC for a Public Transit client. The ideal candidate will work with a team of construction engineering department, procurement department and finance team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing invoices, preparing invoices, coordinating labor and material entries, reviewing the timesheets and work toward getting the invoice approved.
Education and Skills Required:
- · Bachelor’s degree in a business major (Accounting or Finance preferred) or working towards a Bachelor’s degree (having completed at least two-years of college studies)
- Possess good communications skills both oral and written
- · Possess accounting/finance knowledge and experience
- · Possess strong computer application skills, including Microsoft Excel and Access
- · 1-2 years’ experience with financial systems
- · 1-2 years’ experience with workflow automation for accounting and financing functions
- · Be able to work with minimal guidance or oversight
- · Proven attention to details and diligence in completing assignments promptly and accurately
